October, 2009 we attended the Lake Mirror Classic, Lakeland Florida. It was great fun and a perfect fall day.  Evan was surrounded by hordes of people asking about the Smart.  I had to give him a break so he could go look at the show and eat lunch.  Oh, and we won a Sponsor's Choice Award.  How cool is that. 

  

 

 

 

Recurring Events:

 
Cars and Coffee at the Dupont Registry in St. Petersburg - the 3rd Saturday of every month at 7am.  There are usually 4 or 5 Smart cars at the event every month.  Here are directions.

Other Events
 
We had two TC's at the Lakeland event this October.  Next to us was a Smart Car - it had the most people around it of any car on the street.  Next year we will take our Smarty too. 
 
The car show is great.  It is held around the third weekend in October.  There is a small fee to enter the event and they give you lunch for two and "stuff".  Sunday for another small fee, you can join a rally and have lunch at a near by Florida venue.  One year was at Bok Tower, this year was at a winery.  If you ever get the chance, go.
